Dutch boiling water tap pioneers Quooker have recently overhauled their renowned CUBE system. Released back earlier this summer, Quookers new filtered chilled and sparkling water unit will transform your existing Quooker boiling tap into a multi-functional 5 way tap.
Whats new?
The Quooker CUBE has had a number of improvements including a sleeker slimmer designed body, allowing you greater flexibility when installing in tight spaces.
The previous CUBE model required owners to slide the unit forward when under a kitchen sink to access the compartment housing both water filter cartridges. Now with an external combined water filter cartridge thus reducing the amount of plastic used in the manufacturing process, filter replacements are by far easier.
One impressive feature I like on the new CUBE system is the stylish touchscreen. Here you can see information including the remaining filter and CO₂ life. Fans of San Pellegrino and sparkling water will be delighted to hear the CUBE now has two settings (50% & 100%) depending on how fizzy/carbonated you like your water. Adjustment for this can be made using the touch screen.
The most noticeable improvement in comparison with the previous version is the increased flow rates on both the still and sparkling filtered water.
